There is changes in there mammary after there first heat that is why spaying them before there first heat extremely lowers the risk of mammary cancer. Did you have you female and male together with out you watching them during her heat? They should have been separate the whole time time because 11 months old is far to young for a female to be bred and even more dangerous is she is under 5 pounds.
