Milk chocolate is not as harmful as the dark chocolate...that dark chocolate, the bitter dark baking chocolate, the simi sweet dark chocolate....these all have much more of the enzyme that is toxic to the dogs....years ago, I used to give each of my dogs a milk chocolate Hershey kiss every day....they LOVED that bed time delight and never got ill from that ONE, daily Hershey Kiss! Imagine my confusion when chocolate suddenly appeared on a toxic list for dogs years later! I researched it and found out milk chocolate does not have the toxic effects of the dark chocolate or dark cocoa powder.
