I definitely went through a scary experience Christmas night. We had our girls with us earlier that day and then we put them in their new pen we got for the afternoon. Late that night when we got home, we discovered that Lilly Anne had gotten out of the pen and had hopped up on the chair in our dining room and got down two of those small reeses chocolate things that are wrapped in tinfoil. I called the vet immediately when I found out and he said as long as she was acting okay that night to just keep an eye out on her and bring her in the next day. She acted fine all night and when we got up that next morning we saw where she had pooped out the tinfoil wrappers. She is fine now and thankfully the chocolate didn't seem to affect her at all besides the fact that she was bouncing all over the walls from a sugar high! Just a reminder to make sure to put that Christmas candy way out of reach! I would have never thought she would be able to get to it, but she did and I definitely learned my lesson.
