I'm new here too... Our old guy is pretty mellow except an occasional issue at bedtime. LOL He's a rescue, we don't know much about his puppy mill history, we've taken him camping, he seems to love all we do... On the visitors, maybe get him used to the family at their house a few times, we do.. then have small numbers visit you. It worked with our rescue 10-12 year old pup.
