Bless you for giving her a forever home! The aggression might be related to her other home which may have had small children that tormented her. She will need to learn to trust these little bodies of energy. I would keep her safe from them and gradually let her adjust. An xpen with a covered bed to keep her secure but able to see the grandkids. Tell the kids to not attempt to pet or play with her until she warms to them. It might take a long time, but hopefully she will trust again!
