Hello to all of our soon to be friends. We have a rescue yorkie. She is going to be 2 we believe in March. It was love at first site. Our friends, who camp have yorkies and we were a 'dogless' family of two. Well, one day my hubby stopped at our local shelter and there she was, alone, afraid and shaking. He told me about her that night and I said " Why didn't you bring her home?" Well, you just don't do that.. I got up the next day and called site unseen and told them we wanted her and I was coming to get her. I did and she came home with us the very next day after visiting the Vet. Love at first site I say. We spent a small fortune on her the first few days... OMG. She loves to camp and gets along with the other dogs. Loving and sweet............Until we have company at the house..... We have 3 grandchildren and she just about eats them up.. Any company... We are not sure how to handle this. I know yorkies are protective but there has to be a way. So I will be asking for help... We named her Roxy Marie... We don't know what happened before us as she was dropped in a night box but, she sure is loved and treated like a little princess now... I didn't mean to type a book ... yet...lol
