Mine do that too. Amazing how high they can get isn't it? I've found that the best thing to do is completely ignore it. Don't even look at them...no eye contact even. Eventually, they'll understand that they won't get any attention when they act that way. When he's calmed down a bit, you can tell him to sit, give a treat & then give him attention. It took a while, but mine now know that when I walk in the front door, they don't get any attention until they're sitting. Good luck!
