Thank you all for your replies, it is so good to know that Jack is just not that stubborn, it is just a normal thing.. I will try the coming at him from a different angle. He loves to be held, and jumps at me to get on my lap, so I know it is not that he doesn't like me.
As for the coming when called I guess I will just have to keep working at it, but by the sounds of it that could be a impossible task.
