He could be sensing that you are stressing about the food and whether or not he is eating. I don't blame you for being concerned because he is so tiny.

Also could be the changes around home.

Try being happy and excited when you serve his food and then go about your business. Also try using the kibble as reward treats. I have a kibble can with a button top thingy. The boys go crazy when they hear me push the button.

I had to play games with Max his first year and hand feed him. He would do tricks for almost every piece of kibble. Something like this may help Galen see the food as good.

Hope you can figure out what works for him.
