Lots of experienced folks here.

Jumping off the bed is a real no no - you can hear from folks here who have experienced the fractures and/or head injuries.
I got a 5 step foam stairs to put beside the bed for Cali, but you still have to watch them - especially if they are fearless jumpers

There are holders for piddle pads that mKe them difficult to play with.

I hear you are supposed to transition their food slowly but sound like your pup has decided what is appealing. Just watch for diarrhea and tummy upsets.

Others will get on board and give you more ideas. This is the right place. Hang in your baby is still very young.
