I fully support that availability, and from day one that a Pup arrives here, it has (several kinds) of Food available to it 24/7. I like to offer my guys a variety (Beef/Foul/Sea) so they can choose what they/it would like to eat for that meal. I sincerely believe (with a fair amount of empirical evidence) that the full time availability reduces resource guarding, and makes for a very congenial affiliation between my guys concerning treats and food.
Concerning the frequency of replenishment...
I'd put an appropriate amount out (your opinion) to last one day, and see how that goes. She may gobble it up to start with, but as time passes She should start "trusting" the availability and regulating herself...mine do !
