Give him time. Sometimes it takes rescues a very long time to figure out how to live like a real dog We have had Gracie for over 4 years and she just recently started trying to chase a ball after watching Adie play fetch every day. and Tyler, we discovered, is afraid of toys! He does, however love to play "puppy under the blanket".
