Thanks for posting this, it's always interesting to hear of these things. Do you think it's just cosmetic/surface probably? That's my guess, but I can't say for sure since I haven't seen it done in person.
I kind of doubt this could replace true dental work, but perhaps this might be a good adjunct in-between-cleanings type treatment (IF it's safe, that is; and I'm not sure it is to be honest).
