Oh my goodness.... that is so sad! I can't believe your Vet could be so un-caring! It seems that sometimes some Dr's and Vets are around sickness and death so much, that they get use to it and can forget that it's devastating to the families. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. My brother and his wife and family had to put a cat to sleep, but they had an amazing vet who sent them a sympathy card and even put their cats paw prints on a card for them. They were lucky, because they were able to feel some closure. You are in my thoughts.... your baby was so young.
