I don't think there is a test to determine why these dogs have seizures. As long as there is no underlying condition (tumors), then there isn't any reason to worry about them. This is only my opinion after 16 years of owning a poodle that had them for no apparent reason.
And not seeing her but from your description and my experience with the seizure meds, her stumbling is from the meds, not the seizures.
Thank you for this reply. She visited with us tonight and seems to be her hyper self again (even with Valium meds) I am feeling much better about her recovery now. My grandson (the middle one of three) is the only one that really loves animals and he would be devastated if anything happened to her.
