If buying from a breeder I would make sure they did health and genetic tests on the parents as well as know the parents lines to know that no genetic illnesses run in there lines. If you don't care about that stuff I would rescue from a shelter they have a lot of mixes. No mix is the same you can never know what qualities from which breed the pup will have.
