Allie is 60 days pregnant (due Christmas Day)
She has been on the same food for almost a year. We switched them to grain free because she would chew her paws and scratch her ears. That all cleared up after we switched her foods. I haven't changed anything except to increase her portions but in the last week, I have noticed a lot of scratching and itching and chewing. She's chewing her paws and biting at her back a lot. She does not have any fleas.

Is it possible that pregnancy has caused her to become allergic to her food that's been okay for a year?

They haven't changed the wellness grain free or the buffalo ingredients so I'm not sure what could be causing this. If it were her belly, I would assume it's like human mommies who itch as the belly stretches but it's her paws and back mostly.

Any ideas?
