Stuff like that unfortunately happens. They are so small and quick, it is amazing. Don't beat yourself up. Make sure the pup is eating, drinking, sleeping, playing and going to the bathroom like normal. Plus, make sure the pup doesn't have any sore spots. This type of thing happens and will probably continue to happen. Whether from you, another person or even an animal. My parents Yorkapoo had its tail broken by their 6 month old Golden puppy. He is alright, it is just really difficult situation. With my Alex I would hold him when I would sit down. Plus, to stop from getting under foot I will "GENTLY" ( I repeat GENTLY) move him with my foot when he would get to close to where I was standing. He learned never to be close to feet. He will stay a fair distance away from feet and even other dogs. Hope this helps...Everything will be alright. Your pup is adorable.
