Default My grandsons Yorkie is sick

I am very worried about my grandsons Yorkie Evra (she is in my avatar in a pic with Alfie)
She is just over a year old and a teapot size, I would say she is about 10-12lbs maybe heavier, she is a real character, very active and can jump into your arms.
I have always been a little suspicious that she is full bred as she was bought from the back of a car a few months after we got Alfie, no papers and I think she look a Little cairn.
Anyway, Evra started fitting on Friday and went to the emergency vet, my grandson stayed with us this weekend as he often does so does not know any of this h is 10. The vet kept her overnight, but it seems they don't really know what is wrong, they think she could be epileptic, has ingested poison or maybe got heartworm from a slug (I don't think she gets monthly treatment) She is for the minute being treated for epilepsy. She was back at home yesterday and seems to be picking up but still staggering a bit.
I will let you all know how she gets on but just very worried that there is something seriously wrong with her.
