Greetings,
A slightly new behavior is occurring here. I bring girls (Annie and Susie) out about once every hour and when it is time to go in, Annie just runs away. I call her, I even have tried the treats - but she knows that I will let her have the treat but she will have to also come in - so now she is not buying the treat idea. It is freezing outside (-30 degree wind chill) and I don't want her to get too cold. I end up yelling at her and I don't really want to do that because she only gets scared then.
Annie & Susie love to run outside, but when Susie starts to get cold she will come to me to have me pick her up or stay in one place until I pick her up. Annie on the other hand runs away.
Any suggestions? (We have a fenced in yard - currently with snow, but there is a large cement patio area where they love to run.)
P.S. You all have been so helpful to this new Yorkie mom!
