Yes, they have a "job". We've been volunteering at an assisted living home for 5 years now & the 3 friends in the photos have known us since our first day visiting the home. (That's me on the floor in the first pic.)
When we first started visiting it was just Dolly & me. We then rescued Roxi who came with us for a year before she developed terminal cancer. When I finally announced to everyone she had just a month or so to live, an office worker there told me she had a little pup who she had to keep in the laundry room 16 hours a day while she was gone. She knew it wasn't right, & 16 hours later 2 year old Tila Tequila (Teena!!) was in her new home!!!!!
(I've told the story before, but I just couldn't resist retelling it along with these photos. Teena has been such a blessing!) |
