This technique has kept peace in my house for years...you need to think from the dogs point of view..as much as we love to spoil them and treat them like kids, it's just confusing for them to keep things "fair". They really don't understand the concept. My alpha gets the first treat when I'm handing out treats and so on down the pecking order. There are only minor squabbles when someone is trying to Up their Place in the scheme of things, and it's usually quickly resolved.

I think I may try the dipping in peanut butter idea just for kicks...

Teri, just ignore his Megan comments...he only gets worse if you pay attention to him.....another good training tip, gosh, I'm on a roll.
