yorkies are too smart for their own good! Molli does this sometimes too, if she does a trick and I don't give her a treat she will bark at me or make this pitiful whining noise. Try pairing the treat with physical praise like some rubs and a happy 'good job'. Then take away treat and still do the physical praise. If she is still being stubborn just say 'no more' or something to that effect and walk away. This may be hard, yorkies can be stubborn but you cant give in, just walk away and ignore her until she gives up. She will catch on eventually.
