Thank you for the reply and the reassurance. I can sympathise with the bald knees! Crystal was 'savaged' by her first ever trimmer, a rather dumb young woman with the facial expression of an over ripe plumb. She returned her with odd markings all over the place, redolent of a Pirates treasure map. On top of that she had six fingers and played the banjo!

The establishment we graduated too, also has a member of the 'plumb family' on the staff. I particularly requested that our regular lady proprietor does the job, to avoid recurring ambushes at 'Fruitface Pass'. I usually give them a small bottle of champers as well. It seems Crystal is hey number one on their internal Diva list now, which avoids apprentices and goobers using my little girl as a training prop!
