Your dog needs a balanced diet so if you wish to continue feeding him kibble I'd find a good chemical and grain free one that he will eat.
I feed raw to mine and they need 80% muscle meat 10% bone and 10% organ. Feeding cooked chicken is okay but he needs liver & heart and a variety of different meats too for balance.
Check the ingredients on your cheaper Tesco food, the first few ingredients should be meat or fish, there should be no grains oats or rice or beet pulp. Be wary of meat or bone meal as that tends to mean rendered dead dog and cat |
