Q. What is the advantage of using this product versus traditional hair bands and clips?

A. Because it only sticks to itself, the hair does not tangle or knot up like it does with rubber bands. If applied properly the hair does not get wrapped into the band so when you remove it, the hair is not pulled out and there is less pain involved.

If you see hair coming out when you remove the wrap it is because it got stuck in between the tape as it was wrapped ...
