Do you cut the band off w/band scissors? Bc I do & hardly any hair is on the snag free bands, I use the one for children too. Or you can always get some hair extensions, I think Toki will look so fab in this (#7)!

You could try using Vellus Satin Cream, which is a great leave in conditioner that exhibitors say promotes hair growth. At the very least, it prevents breakage.
