Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I am very sorry you are going through a difficult time and that your little girl is depressed. Dogs are sensitive in general, and Yorkies, I believe are more so.

I'm sure she misses your fiance and is feeling the effect of not having any company 10 hours a day. I'm sure you are tired after a long day. Does she get exercise and entertainment? Lack of activity will contribute big time to depression. My younger boy gets depressed in a single day if he doesn't have a long daily walk.

I can only think of 3 solutions:

A) Add another dog for company -- an expensive option considering the additional cost of vet care and other needs. You would have to find a compatible dog. Since you are working long hours, it would have to be an adult. No time for a puppy.

B) Bring her to a daycare or hire someone to come in daily to play with her. Another expensive option.

C) Re-home her, which I know would be heartbreaking. Yorkies are social animals and they need activity.
