Hi all,

I am new to this forum and reading fast and furious as I am also a new yorkie mom. Certainly WAY different than any other dog I have had.

Let me introduce Tilly. first off she is a rescue. I found her at a shelter in June. She did not look much like a yorkie then, Coat shaved, pregnant, and sooo scared. She was about 1 year of age when I got her and I snatched her fast. The shelter had only had her out about 1 hour...meant to be mine. I had always wanted a yorkie, but pups were just too expensive for me.

She was sick when I got her and my vet also determined that she has collapsing trachea. Many signs of sever abuse. She has her dew claws and whoever docked her tail, took it all, not even a nub. The vet and a breeder I had look at her say she is full blood. She can still be skittish at times, but she is beginning to be the alpha boss of the house. Very spunky, and OMG can she jump. She is not allowed in the yard alone, the fence is no problem for her.

I am so in love with this baby. I look forward to meeting all of you and learning about taking care of my newest child.
