WHAT MEAN POSTS???? It's true a dog is for life, and if ur gonna give a puppy as a present u need to make sure that little dog is gonna be looked after, I learnt the hard way, I bought a puppy for my dh parents and then his dad took a brain tumour and the pup was to much (which is understandable) WELL I took the pup as I was the the one that was responsible for it, he is with us today and his name is gino ,and is now 3yrsold, I was responsible for his wee life as I bought him,,, the members on here r making people aware of things before buying a puppy for a gift ' also I've heard of the puppy gifts ending up in shelters as people think they want them till they realize the hard work involved, and as for having money the I wud never buy my son and girlfriend a pup as they can't even feed themselves .
