I don't think Yorkies are a good fit for a household with small children. It isn't that they aren't good with kids.... kids aren't good with them. Small children don't understand that these little dogs can easily be hurt. If dropped, stepped on, kicked, rolled on or even getting out of the door when kids are coming and going outside can be dangerous for them. It's not that kids do things purposely, they are just kids and it just happens way too often.
