Maybe she's intolerant of something in the SD...when dogs are sensitive to an ingredient, they throw up. Or you needed to do the transition slower...it probably caused the tummy upset. I've read that for sensitive pups, do a bland diet 1st (white rice & your choice of protein) & gradually mix in the new food.
