Something like Halt is much better than a bat or something to throw at them. First of all, you might end up either dropping your dogs leash or hitting your dog too if you are attacked. the Halt will keep your other hand free and swinging something at them might make them attack even more. If talking to the woman doesn't help then she may realize how serious you are when she sees you walking with Halt. |
