 What to feed ? 5-6 week olds
I have been hand feeding these babies since they were 3 days old (5 of them) due to mom having hypocalcemia. Mom is doing fine since the nursing has stopped They are now 5 weeks old, just starting to get teeth and I am still bottle feeding formula and puppy gruel. When should I stop the bottles, because although I have introduced a bowl of formula to them, they are not interested and I wonder if because of the sucking they have missed with their mother. They are doing wonderful and healthy babies and I love them all, but not sure on the next step to feeding them. Please help. |
