My boyfriend's mother gave us some small cooked pork bones yesterday for Simba and Pepe. Needless to say the boys loved and and I thought it was safe. Well, my Chi (Pepe) threw up several times tonight, he didn't seem sick or lethargic but kept on throwing the bone up. Poor little guy. He was okay this morning but no more cooked bones for them. I could kick myself but I used to have a German shephard mix who would eat cooked bones just fine so it didn't occcur to me that it would be safe. I feel like a very bad mommy.
