I have never had a litter that did not have dew claws ..I have had over 30 . They have to be done at 2 days old ..It only costs like 15 dollars to do and can not do it when dog is older then its a major operation. If the breeder doesn't get them remove they are CHEAP!! and I would find another breeder what else are they not doing. When dog gets older the dew claw get snagged on your sweaters or blankets and sometime will get ripped off not pleasant for dog. You will be able to see and feel the dew claw it will be a bit higher up on the inside of paw . |
