Welcome to YT. Yorkies are fairly fragile little guys and the problem with kiddos is they don't always understand how gentle they must be with them. There are many folks on this forum who do have small kids and yorkies, and I'm sure some of them will be happy to offer advice on how they make it work. This is a great place to absorb information about yorkies prior to deciding if that is the right dog for you.
