I noticed that Gracie's skin and hair had alot of white flakes. I gave her a good bath with oatmeal shampoo and she is still flaking bad. I just went to brush her and her hair was comming out in small clumps. No bald spots, just alot of shedding, much more then normal. What could this be, just dry skin??? She is not scratching more then normal, nothing seems to be diffrent about her except for the white flakes and excessive hair loss. I checked her for fleas, did not find any or any of the "flea" signs. No red marks on her body or sores. What could this be? What should I do?
