Usually, my husband is home at night when I am working, and I am home during the day when he is working. Huey is alone for about 3 hours in the mornings before I get home after dh leaves. The only time he is home alone for extended times is when dh goes to visit his ill mother out of state for the weekend every 6-8 weeks and I have to work, which leaves him alone for 14-15 hours overnight. I truly feel that Huey sleeps the whole time I'm gone, no matter how he looks at me when I return.
I just purchased a nanny cam from Amazon, though, and next time dh is out of town, I'm gonna set it up and check on him from work, just to see what he is doing.
