My 6mo old yorkie loves to play outside, sniff and investigate everything. I have a very large piece of property that we walk around and sniff everyday...but only on his terms. I try to get him to walk all the way to the end of my driveway where we check the mail, but once his paws hit the street, he freezes and doesn't want to walk any further. I want to take him for walks and get him out more but he's very stubborn. Any suggestions? PS he has all of his shots and rabies as well so he's safe to go for walks. And same thing goes for the car, he cries and cries in the car. I've tried putting him in his little carrier, tried without the carrier, tried in my lap. He finally deals with it after being in the car for about 20 minutes or so but by that time we have already reached our destination. Help!
