Greetings

My Maya is now over 1 year old and we are doing great - thanks for previous encouragement! My question is this: the darling won't just go off and take a nap - I have to PUT her to bed. When her behaviour becomes unruly or she just looks beat - usually about 2 hours after her last sleep- i have to actually say " it is time for night-night" and she will go jump onto my bed and allow me to cuddle her before she rolls onto her side and goes to sleep. She will sleep 2-3 hours if the house is quiet. We go through this routine 3 times per day. Sometimes I will say 'Maya go night-night' and hope she will wander off to the bed, but she walks slowly and waits for me to come with her. It is pretty cute. I rarely see her lie down on her own. If she does lie down, it is only for about 5 minutes and then she is up barking sharply at shadows...or whatever. Anyone else have this kind of ' baby'?
