I definitely will continue Rabies vaccinations....but honestly, it's not because I think he'd ever be bitten by a rabid animal. I am more afraid of him biting someone else...and the consequences of that if he did not have a rabies vaccine. I used to work for the vet and I've seen how they test for rabies. Perhaps they've found a better way these days but I could never let that happen to my dog.


I think I am going to hold off on the rest...perhaps I will talk to my bet about testing his levels. From the little I've heard, the tests are a lot more expensive than the vaccinations themselves...does anyone know if that's true?!?


Even if it costs more, I am sure it's a drop in the bucket to what it would cost if my guy had a negative reaction to the vaccines.
