Since she's spayed, you don't really have to worry about a BYB making money off her....but you do need to worry about whether her future owners can give her the medical care that she needs.
If it were my pup, I would contact one of the above rescues...Yorkie Haven or Chris Rescue Angels. These places go above and beyond to get pups all the vet care that they need...and your pup will live in a real, loving home as a foster until they find the perfect home for your pup...and if they never find one, your dog will stay with it's foster parent forever.
At the Humane Society, the dog will live in a kennel. There is a chance it will be put to sleep because it is sick...and they do not screen the new owners like rescues do. Your baby will be placed to the first person that comes in with enough money to pay the adoption fee....which may not be someone who can afford all of her vet bills or give her the life you'd want her to live.
Please consider surrendering her to one of these rescues if you can't afford her vet bills.
Are there any low income clinics in your area?? It may be another alternative to care credit.... |
