When we started to look for my moms yorkie "rocky" we were wanting a "teacup" yorkie. (I know, Iknow, there's no teacup now.... but at the time we knew nothing about yorkies and their correct names of sizes) We just knew we wanted a little boy that would be extra small. Well our next mistake was that we bought Rocky from a pet store (something else we knew nothing about at the time) We were told he was the smallest out of the litter and he would be very tiny. Well he's 2yrs. now and 9lbs. I love Rocky to death and so when I went to look for me a Yorkie this past year I wanted to find a 7lb. and up Yorkie b/c I love the size of Rocky. I think him at 9lbs. is perfect (He's not overweight, just muscular) Well the first little girl my mom and I went to look at was my Lucy 1. We knew she was smaller than what we were looking for but we fell in love and saw her parents and the were quite big and we were only charged $750.00(I think, maybe $800.00, I have the worst memory. I can't remember half of what I did yesterday...lol... but i'm serious) for her so we figured she would be normal size.... By the yorkie size chart she would have only been 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. - Well next we went to look for my Lucy Too and we hope she is going to be a big girl....She's growing slow but steady so I hope she at least gets to 7lbs.

To sum it up I like big Yorkies - Don't get me wrong Tiny's are adorable also, it's just what I prefer just like others prefer tiny's
