Ok, this started with me looking at pretty girl yorkie Christmas outfits. I showed one to dh and said "next time I'm getting a girl so I can dress her up pretty". Dh replied, no no no, nope, no way. I asked why. He said that I couldn't handle a girl dog because she would love him better than me. I questioned this and he said "Huey controls you, and I control Huey" I reminded him that I do the bathing, grooming, feeding, etc, and he said that Huey would obey him better than me in all these areas (if he chose to participate) since he is the master that Huey obeys when it is "come here""stop barking" "give me that", etc. He is right. Am I destined to always be 2nd dog?
If I get a girl dog, will it be worse? Huey follows me everywhere. He is on my ankle if I'm walking or next to my butt if I'm sitting or under the covers if I'm sleeping. He loves me more, but minds dh better. Whassup w'dat?
