Turbo used to throw up yellow bile all the time. Vet said to give a snack b4 bedtime & split his meals into 3. He was prescribed pepcid a/c & tagamet. I didn't give it to him tho bc I didn't think it was an acid problem. Did a NutriScan test recently & it turns out he's intolerant/sensitive to certain proteins, like chicken. Since removing the offending foods from his diet, he has not thrown up since.
I am not saying to do the test bc it is expensive, but when dogs are intolerant of a food, they throw up. I would stop all treats & start a limited ingredient diet, that way it's easier to pin point the offending food/ ingredient. Give him something to eat b4 bedtime if he throws up early in the morning. If he stops throwing up yellow bile, it was simply bc he had an empty stomach.
But since this started 9 months ago, I think it's some type of food intolerance. How are his stools?
