Was the blood bright red or dark almost black? Bc if it was bright red fresh blood, something's going on in the large intestines or colon. Usu colitis, but in that case, the blood is almost always accompanied by mucus covered poop. But dripping blood sounds worrisome & I thought HGE too...hope Bentley will be ok.
Maybe a bland diet will help w/his tummy. White rice, boiled chicken or tilapia. I overcook the white rice w/xtra water to make it soft. Give it to him & see how it goes, if he holds it, maybe mix in a little RX canned food & see how that goes. If I remember correctly, Hill's canned food has a higher fat content (maybe it's different for different issues)...if he continues to throw up, maybe your vet can prescribe something else.
