Sophie Kate has the same issue in the morning so we resolved it by giving her a lite snack of dry kibble before bed. It has helped so much and now she knows she gets a bedtime snack and paces around while I am getting ready for bed waiting for her yummy snack (my term for it, her terms are give me the food woman).
