If you are really consistant she should have the hang of it within a week or two. Also, keep her on a consistant feeding and pottying schedule. Keep her crated when you can't watch her. My Dixie is three years old and she was trained to use a doggy door, which I don't have, so we have had some potty issues. I am consistant with her and take her out every three hours or so. I did notice that since I was free feeding her, because I wanted her to gain some weight, that she had more accidents than when I started scheduling her meals. Hope this helps you! Good Luck!
My Silk had also been trained to go thru a doggy door which I don't have and can't put in. She took immediately to the pee pads that Ceeby uses but the past few days, she has had a few accidents on my carpet. I have to really watch her close. ceeby always pees on the pad but poos where he wants to usually. sometimes he hits the pad. Dixie does not do the circle thing. She just stops and squats. when I pick her up she forgets she wanted to pee.
