I feel like his belly is very sensitive so he gets only apples, green beans, carrots for snack SOMETIMES and a corn free, gluten free organice chewy treat called " Buddies" which are sold at Stop n Shop-there a bit pricey, 399 a bag but small, and no additives. Hes also EXTREMELY picky with treats wont eat anything thats hard, or a buscuit like treat. Very Very spoiled YorkiePoo I have, but Ive probably been the blame-so much love for him!~ Thank You for responses, glad to have joined
In case you don't already know, the foods you are giving him for late snacks will digest and leave his tummy pretty rapidly...about 40-50 minutes, so he would have an empty tummy fairly quickly. I would think you would want to give him late snacks that take longer to digest. If you don't want to give him proteins...which takes longer to digest...as late evening snacks, and only want him to have apples, green beans, carrots, etc., you might want to make him some dehydrated 'kibble' out of those things and leave it where he can get to it whenever he is hungry.

I would personally, definitely, not be interested in long term use of an antacid...for me or my Yorkies.
